Description: 1960s Vintage 18ct Gold Ruby & Diamond ‘Pick Up Sticks’ Bombe Ring

A seriously special 1960s statement ring with the most incredible higgledy-piggledy ‘pick up sticks’ design. 

Crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold, the bombe-shaped head is made up of layers of randomly arranged gold bars, creating this wonderfully sculptural, almost chaotic texture. Tucked amongst the gold are sprinkles of claw-set natural rubies alongside brilliant-cut diamonds set in white gold, giving little flashes of rich red and sparkle throughout.

It’s one of those rings where the more you look at it, the more details you notice — the irregular gold bars, tiny claws, contrasting white gold settings and gemstones all working together to create something completely bonkers in the best possible way.

The 20mm head gives it serious presence on the hand, while the intricate construction makes it feel like a tiny piece of 1960s jewellery sculpture.

A proper statement vintage ring for someone who doesn’t want anything too ordinary.
